Who are Alumni Relations?

Our Alumni Relations department focuses on the important task of engaging NC graduates in many opportunities to stay connected.

Alumni Relations offers employment services, group benefits and affinity partnerships, and more to graduates (alumni) of Niagara College.

Students & Recent Graduates

• Your Grade Report can be found on MyNC. To get your grades follow these instructions to obtain your grade report on MyNC.
• Login to MyNC to request a copy of your official transcript, or request that your transcript be sent to another institution. After logging in go to Dashboard > Request Forms > Request for Transcript.

Graduates & Alumni

• You don't receive a copy of your transcript when you graduate, but official transcripts are available free of charge.
• If you still have access to MyNC, you can login and request a copy of your official transcript, or request that your transcript be sent to another institution. After logging in go to Dashboard > Request Forms > Request for Transcript.
• If you no longer have access to MyNC you can make a transcript request by filling out a separate form.

Transcripts required by another educational institution need to be sent directly by Niagara College. If they don't accept direct transcripts then you can request an official grade report and letter instead.

Credential Replacement Requests

The cost of a replacement credential is $12 CAD.

Your credential is the paper diploma, certificate or degree bearing Niagara College’s seal that you receive when you graduate from Niagara College.

• Counselling Services are free, confidential and voluntary. For phone service call Welland at 905-735-2211 ext. 7778, or Niagara-on-the-Lake at 905-641-2252 ext. 4409, or submit this form to be connected with Health, Wellness and Accessibility Services at NC.
• Resources for coping with COVID-19, mental health and well-being and mental illness awareness resources can be found on our Counselling website.

If you are a student in crisis and need to talk to someone but our Counsellors are unavailable, these services can help you. If you are in danger, call 911 immediately. If you need urgent medical or psychiatric attention, go to the nearest hospital.

Applicants with previous postsecondary education will be assessed for transfer credits upon receipt of an official transcript from their previous institution. There is no fee for this service.

Transfer Credits

The assessment of course credits earned at another institution being used to earn Niagara College credit(s).

Equivalencies

The assessment of Niagara College course credits being used to earn credit in a different Niagara College course.

Advanced Standing

Means you receive enough transfer credits to start beyond level 1 (1st term) in a Niagara College program.

How do I get my invoice?

• New Students: Please refer to page 6 on your Letter of Acceptance.
• Returning Students: Your invoice will be posted to your online MyNC account in the MyFinancials section. It will not be mailed to you.

When is payment due?

Tuition fees are due by the due date indicated on your invoice.

How do I pay my invoice?

You can pay your invoice in a number of ways, including through the MyFinancials section of MyNC.

Did you know that we believe many people acquire college-level learning and skills through many means?

Individuals might have achieved college-level learning and skills through work experience, community work, non-credit courses, self-directed study, travel or military service.

Candidates may be granted Niagara College credits based on an assessment of their prior learning.

Further information about Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) – including cost – can be found at niagaracollege.ca/plar.
