Timetables and Electives

When can I select my timetable?

  • Timetable Selection Date schedules are released prior to each term and are posted on the MyNC login page under “Announcements”, as well as the MyNC Announcements page.
  • Students can begin their online timetable selection at a specific date and time for their program. Be sure to check the schedule.

The following must be completed before you can access your timetable:

Confirm your acceptance and pay your fees.

If you have confirmed your acceptance and paid your fees, your timetable should be available for selection 2 business days after fees are paid, based on the Program Open Dates for the term you are entering. These dates are posted on the MyNC homepage.

If your fees have not been paid, please visit niagaracollege.ca/fees/.

Set up your user ID and password.

Learn how to create your user ID and set your password at its.niagaracollege.ca/setting-up-your-account/.

If you forgot your user ID and password you can learn how to reset it at its.niagaracollege.ca/password-management/.

Timetable Corrections

I don’t see a schedule posted yet.

Visit niagaracollege.ca/dates/ and look for the Postsecondary full-time online timetable selection begins date in the term you’re entering. This date is when online timetable selection begins.

Check the MyNC login page closer to this date and a schedule should be posted.

What general electives can I choose?

  • Depending on what program you’re taking you may need to choose a general elective.
  • Electives differ depending on what campus you’re attending (Welland or Daniel J. Patterson campus at Niagara-on-the-Lake).
  • Check for a General Electives Options announcement on the MyNC login page. Two lists of electives will be available – one for each campus.

Types of Course Delivery

“Course delivery” or “delivery method” describes the way in which course content is delivered in a particular class.

Niagara College uses a few different delivery methods, and each is represented differently on your course timetable. Types of delivery include synchronous face-to-face, synchronous online and asynchronous online.
