What are tuition, ancillary and program fees?
When you calculate your tuition and fees, all fees – including tuition, ancillary and program fees – will be included.
Tuition Fees
Tuition fees are fees charged to students representing their contribution towards the operating and capital costs of the academic program delivery and general overhead for the institution. Tuition is the cost associated with delivering programs to students.
Domestic Tuition
Domestic tuition fees for postsecondary, graduate certificate and bachelor’s degree programs are set in accordance with the Ontario Ministry of Colleges and Universities fee guidelines.
International Tuition
General information about other international costs, due dates, refund policy, housing costs, and more can be found at international.niagaracollege.ca.
Ancillary Fees
Ancillary fees are charged in addition to the cost of tuition, which support services and activities distinct from academic programming for the institution. Examples of ancillary fees include:
- Fees supporting the cost of student Athletic facilities, as well as recreation and fitness programming
- Career and job search services
- Peer support, health and counselling services
